The music school was looking for Head HR to manage creative employee base, and senior musicians; prior association with Indian corporates for consulting and good understanding of Indian music industry was preferred. Competent HR professional should be able to work as partner and also manage diverse employee base coming from across the world. Person should be able to build a sustainable vibrant organization culture, based on which start up music school can scale up. They were also looking for Corporate Relations person, who can arrange short term projects and full-time jobs for the students in the industry linked with music for the right fitment. This person should be well connected with marketing/ advertising agencies, with their HR & creative team. Further person should be creative and have understanding of music and art so that he/she can communicate with creative community naturally. Institution was looking for dynamic and competent persons for both the roles. At the same time they had budgetary constraints. While meeting with the school’s management team EduShine consultant suggested to look for a person with relevant experience of both the positions.
What We Delivered
Due to limited budget, it was difficult to find a person for such position, who can carry organization along. Edushine mapped creative sectors i.e., creative agencies, design houses, advertising agencies, media industry, entertainment industry, music industry, etc. We came up with three (3) HR professionals; two (2) were from above mentioned industries and one (1) Creative field HR professional who is an artist; with performing art background and has also worked in creative companies. After rigorous selection process client selected & 1 HR professional with entrepreneurial experience of starting dance school, she also had HR business partnership experience in banking and creative agency.
